A People’s Vision: Looking Beyond the 114th Congress

PeoplesVision-thumbAs the new Congress convenes in D.C., we gathered to articulate our visions for our country. We brought together groups working for change to celebrate what they’re doing. We couldn’t wait for Washington to lead!

We congregated outside Northampton First Churches tomorrow (Tuesday, January 5) at 6:30pm, to hear the Raging Grannies, a few words about the state of the world and movements today, and from many organizations doing good work that YOU support, and opportunities to get involved.

A myriad of organizations presented their answers to these questions:

  • What are our priorities?
  • What work is happening?
  • How can you get involved?

Join us in our pledge to work for a better world!

With Keynote Speaker: Falguni Sheth, professor of Philosophy at  Hampshire College, and a Salon.com contributor

Presenting organizations include: Arise for Social Justice, National Priorities Project, climate change organizations in the valley, Springfield No One Leaves, Just Communities, and many, many more!
