On Wednesday, April 29, Vijay Prashad presented his new book, Letters to Palestine: Writers Respond to War and Occupation, at Smith College.

The book has essays and poems by Junot Diaz, Teju Cole, Naomi Shihab Nye, Robin Kelley, Corey Robin, Jasiri X, Mumia Abu Jamal and others. Attendees enjoyed an evening of readings from the book by Alisa Klein, Jo Comerford, Monte Belmonte, Sut Jhally, Hind Mari, Badriyyah al-Sabah, Kim Gerould and Yamila Irizarry-Gerould.
